WiggleThis piece was made on my master's course on an art therapy module. We were asked to think about the first time we had a distinct memory of making art. For me this was when my great aunty allowed me to draw over her kitchen wall in conte pencil when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I drew battle scenes with knights, monsters and warriors. I was encouraged to do this and I covered the entire wall with my drawings. The energy, the excitement, the spontaneity and the love of the material inspired me to make this playful sculptural piece.
