Land Art by Neil Jessop

My land art works were inspired by studies undertaken during my undergraduate years in Aberdeen. The concepts explored during this period were expanded subsequently in works completed in Cologne, Maastricht and London. A further influential input to my style were 2, 4-month residency sessions at the Cyprus College of Art. The environment, the materials and the vibrant colours in this inspiring location proved to be key elements in expanding both the underlying philosophy and the specific techniques apparent in my more recent works.
