Ring Cells (SOLD)Acrylic on canvas#
I painted this in my rented, single room in London in 2003. It was the first painting I had really done since my foundation year at art college and at the time I was feeling very inward looking. I hated the job I did and I remember that period being a very self reflective time for me. I used this work to escape into a more exciting and colourful environment but looking back on it, it is a reflection on how I felt.
